Love Languages of God

The first major co-creation of the Rhema Practice Group is a book titled "Love Languages of God: Our Experiences of God". A purpose of the group is to advocate, share, and teach the practice of rhema. Rhema is a Greek word used by the earliest Christians to mean personally heard word of God. Using modern English language, rhema is equivalent to discernment, inspiration, calling, interior locution, or simply "listening to God." We wanted to show that most of us experience rhema of one form or another, but may have not recognized it as such. We experience moments of being connected with the divine, but we forget about it or fail to realize its significance. Hence, we decided to (a) invite friends to share their stories of personal experiences of God, (b) share our personal experiences of God, and (c) invite friends we know are experienced rhema practitioners and share their stories with us. This book is a collection of such stories.
